Previously, as Executive Vice President at Tembec, he oversaw $1.5 billion in operations, driving production optimization, securing government funding, and negotiating pioneering labor agreements. His deep expertise in cost control, facility planning, and market development has fueled record-setting profitability—especially in the paperboard sector. A results-oriented leader, Mr. Black led a transformative turnaround at the Kapuskasing newsprint mill, implementing major efficiency gains.
