Chris served as Senior Vice President at Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM), overseeing a $0.5 billion division and leading seamless integration following RYAM’s acquisition of Tembec. As Executive Vice President at Tembec, he managed a $1.5 billion operation, optimizing production, securing government funding, and negotiating industry-first labor agreements. His expertise in cost management, facility planning, and market development has consistently delivered record-setting profitability, particularly in the paperboard sector. A results-driven leader, Chris has spearheaded major efficiency improvements, including a transformative turnaround at the Kapuskasing newsprint mill. Throughout his career, he has successfully navigated economic downturns, championed safety initiatives, and built strong government and industry relationships.
