We believe that preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and incidents is fundamental to the success of our business, and we strive to uphold the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

Our Commitment to Health and Safety

KAP Paper’s management team recognizes its ultimate responsibility to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of everyone involved in our operations. We are dedicated to:

  • Allocating the necessary resources to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Continuously improving safety outcomes through robust programs that help workers perform their tasks safely.

  • Meeting and exceeding all compliance obligations and regulatory requirements.

  • Applying effective controls to minimize health and safety risks.

  • Ensuring all parties in the workplace are committed to reducing the risk of injury and illness.

Compliance and Legal Duties

We are committed to full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other applicable legislation. Supervisors play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring workers are informed of hazards, equipment is used safely, and safe work practices are followed.

Accountability Across the Organization

Safety is a shared responsibility, and all workplace parties are accountable for promoting a safe environment. Supervisors ensure the implementation of safety measures, while workers comply with safety protocols and participate actively in safety programs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Top Management: Allocates resources, ensures legal compliance, and fosters a culture of safety.

  • Supervisors: Advise workers on hazards, monitor safety practices, and provide necessary training and supervision.

  • Workers: Follow safety practices, report hazards, participate in training, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Continuous Improvement

Kap Paper is committed to the continuous improvement of our health and safety performance. We regularly review and update our policies and programs, conduct audits, and assess risks to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained.

At Kap Paper, we believe that maintaining a strong focus on health and safety is essential to our success. Together, we can ensure that every worker goes home safe at the end of each day.
