Ms. Fortin is the Chief Financial Officer of Kap Paper Inc. and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Finance and Accounting and is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant. After beginning her career in the Public Accounting sector specialising in External Audit, she relocated back to her hometown of Kapuskasing where she was employed as an accountant for Tembec Inc.’s Paper Mill division. After the acquisition of Tembec by Rayonier Advanced Materials, she served as a Sawmill Financial Analyst for three years. Loyal to her roots and knowing her true passion lied in Pulp and Paper, she returned to the industry by way of GreenFirst Forest Products where she led the Paper Mill division accounting team as Controller of Kap Paper Inc. until her promotion to her current position.
