Position: Temporary Labourer – Summer Student, Unifor Local 256
Location: Kapuskasing, ON – Papermill
Salary: $26.26 an hour, as per the Collective Agreement
Position Summary
Unifor Local 256 is seeking motivated and reliable Summer Students. This role supports operations within a warm industrial environment and requires individuals who are safety conscious, dependable, and capable of performing physically demanding work.
Requirements:
Education: Secondary School Diploma, pursuing post secondary education.
Experience: Labour experience is an asset.
Language: English (spoken and written), Bilingualism is an asset.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Work within a team environment.
Perform manual duties and tasks throughout the papermill, specifically in the entry level positions.
Be safety-conscious, and able to understand your role in our team.
Ability to safely lift 50lbs.
