Terry Skiffington
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Skiffington is a skilled executive with a broad range of experience in the pulp and paper sector in Canada and globally. Mr. Skiffington has served as a consultant to both GreenFirst in connection with auditing and advising on the operational performance of the Kapuskasing paper mill and to Interpac Egypt in connection with the startup of a 200,000 T/Y multiply recycled linerboard facility. Mr. Skiffington has also served as the Chief Operating Officer of OJI Fibre Solutions where he oversaw seventeen (17) operating sites across New Zealand doing $1.1B in annual sales and managed a team of 850 direct employees and 250 contractors. Additionally, Mr. Skiffington has also served in several senior management roles including as a Site Manager at Resolute Forest Products Inc., where he oversaw an integrated pulp and paper complex while achieving an OSHA incident rate of less than 0.8; and at Tembec Inc. as Senior Vice-President – Strategic Projects where he oversaw a large scale, $200M capital project to reposition a core asset. Mr. Skiffington graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science as a Mechanical Engineer in 1986 and a Master’s of Pulp and Paper Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 1988, before earning his Master of Business Administration degree from Queen’s University in 1999.
