Mr. Skiffington is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the Canadian and global pulp and paper industry. He has served as a consultant to GreenFirst Forest Products, advising on operational performance at the Kapuskasing paper mill, and to Interpac Egypt, supporting the startup of a 200,000 T/Y multi-ply recycled linerboard facility. As Chief Operating Officer of OJI Fibre Solutions, Mr. Skiffington oversaw 17 operating sites across New Zealand, generating $1.1 billion in annual sales, and led a workforce of 850 direct employees and 250 contractors. His senior leadership experience also includes roles such as Site Manager at Resolute Forest Products Inc., where he managed an integrated pulp and paper complex and maintained an OSHA incident rate below 0.8, and Senior Vice-President of Strategic Projects at Tembec Inc., where he led a $200 million capital project to reposition a core asset. Mr. Skiffington holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering (1986) and a Master of Pulp and Paper Engineering (1988) from the University of British Columbia, as well as an MBA from Queen’s University (1999).
